NCT ID NCT06065228
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device that measures how nerves respond to inflammation in children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The device checks three types of nerve fibers to help doctors better understand disease activity and tailor treatments. About 60 children aged 6 and older with IBD will participate. The goal is to develop a more precise way to monitor inflammation, not to treat the disease directly.
