First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This pilot study tests a brief 3-5 minute communication tool called PEACE, designed to improve mental wellbeing and public attitudes toward reintegrating former Boko Haram members in Nigeria. Researchers will enroll 74 adults to see if the intervention is acceptable and reduces anxiety, depression, and trauma. The goal is to gather initial data on feasibility, not to provide a treatment.
