Summary
This study tested a standardized care plan for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in primary care. 227 women aged 18-50 with PCOS took part. The plan included lifestyle changes and, for some, prebiotic supplements to see if it improved insulin resistance and other symptoms.
