Summary

This study tests whether a four-week online mindfulness-based education program can help women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) manage menstrual symptoms, lower stress, and improve quality of life. About 78 women with PCOS will be randomly assigned to either the program or routine care. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms, stress, and well-being using standard questionnaires.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
a four-week online mindfulness-based education program for PCOS
What this could lead to
If effective, this program could offer a low-cost, non-drug way for women with PCOS to better manage symptoms and reduce stress.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with 78 participants, so results may not apply to all women with PCOS. The program's benefits may be modest or short-lived.
