First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study followed 105 children and adults with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), a rare lung condition, to understand how their breathing and symptoms change during flare-ups. Researchers measured lung function and quality of life to gather information that will help design future trials for preventing and treating these episodes. No new treatments were tested; the goal was to learn more about the disease.
