New hope for Hard-to-Treat breast cancer: targeted drug shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tests a new drug called patritumab deruxtecan in people with advanced breast cancer that is hormone-receptor positive and no longer responds to hormone therapy or CDK4/6 inhibitors. About 99 participants will receive the drug every three weeks to see if it shrinks tumors. Researchers will also study how the drug affects the immune system and look for markers that predict who benefits most.
