Summary
This small study looked at whether passive static stretching can help improve hip movement in people who have had hip replacement, those with long-term hip pain, and healthy volunteers. Over 4 weeks, participants did stretching exercises three times a week under supervision. Hip flexibility was measured before and after using electronic sensors. The study is low-risk and does not involve any drugs or surgery.
