First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether a gentle electrical stimulation of the ear (auricular vagus nerve stimulation) combined with standard physical therapy can help people with Parkinson's disease improve their balance, walking, and other symptoms. Twenty participants with mild to moderate Parkinson's will receive the combined treatment. The goal is to see if this safe, non-invasive approach offers added benefits over therapy alone.
