Summary

This study explored whether a parent's anxiety before their child's surgery influences the child's own anxiety and pain after the operation. Researchers measured anxiety in 81 parents and their children aged 2-6 undergoing groin surgery. The goal was to see if easing parental worry could help children feel better after surgery.
