New scan could spot hidden heart valve infections

Summary
This study tests a new type of PET scan to see if it can better diagnose infections in artificial heart valves. Researchers will compare the scan results with standard tests in 30 adults who have a suspected valve infection. The goal is to improve accuracy and speed of diagnosis.
