Scientists search for a biological clue to panic attacks
NCT ID NCT07424911
Summary
This study aimed to understand if a specific enzyme in the blood is connected to panic disorder. Researchers measured the enzyme levels in 33 people with panic disorder and 33 healthy people, and checked if the levels related to symptom severity and signs of inflammation. This was an observational study, meaning it only measured and compared people, without testing any new treatments.
