Summary
This study looks at how fat buildup in the pancreas (pancreatic steatosis) is connected to type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome. Researchers will use a special ultrasound technique to measure pancreatic fat in 100 adults aged 18–80. The goal is to better understand how this fat affects insulin-producing cells and to create a risk score for diabetes. No drugs or devices are tested—only observation and standard medical tests.
