Can genes predict chemo success in pancreatic cancer?

NCT ID NCT03977233

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how the genetic makeup of pancreatic cancer affects response to a chemotherapy called FOLFIRINOX given before surgery. About 45 adults with non-metastatic pancreatic cancer will receive the chemo, then have their tumors analyzed to see if genetic subtypes (like basal-like or classical) influence how well the cancer shrinks or becomes removable. The goal is to improve disease control and surgical outcomes.
