Summary
This study tested whether a guided relaxation program on a tablet could help adults with sickle cell disease better manage pain and stress while in the hospital. 46 participants used the program to listen to and view calming scenes. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free approach is a feasible addition to standard pain treatments.
