Summary
This completed Phase 2 trial tested several experimental treatments for painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (PDPN), a common complication of diabetes causing nerve pain. 127 adults with PDPN rated their daily pain on a 0-10 scale to see if the treatments helped. The goal was to find safe and effective options to ease this chronic pain.
