New study aims to cut opioid use after Open-Heart surgery

Summary

This study tests two different numbing injections (nerve blocks) to see which one controls pain better after open-heart surgery. About 66 adults having heart surgery will receive one of the two blocks. The goal is to reduce the need for strong painkillers (opioids) and improve recovery.
