First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding dexamethasone or dexmedetomidine to a standard numbing medicine (bupivacaine) can provide longer pain relief after rhinoplasty (nose job). About 90 adults undergoing nose surgery will receive one of these combinations as a nerve block. The main goal is to see how long it takes before they need additional pain medication.
