Summary
This study compares brain activity and pain responses between people with intellectual disability (ID) and healthy volunteers. Participants aged 8 to 30 will receive mild heat, cold, brushing, or electrical stimuli while wearing a brain-monitoring cap. The goal is to better understand how pain is perceived in ID, which could improve future pain management.
