First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving children ibuprofen before a dental procedure for reversible pulpitis (a type of tooth inflammation) helps reduce pain during and after treatment. 46 children participated, and researchers measured pain using a simple 0-10 scale. The goal was to see if pre-treatment with ibuprofen makes the experience less painful.
