First-of-its-Kind study sheds light on hidden pain in liver disease patients
NCT ID NCT06062108
Summary
This study aimed to find out how common pain is for people with liver cirrhosis who are in the hospital. Researchers asked 30 hospitalized patients about their pain, its location, intensity, and how it affects their sleep and quality of life. The goal was to gather basic information, as no such data existed in France, to better understand and eventually address this overlooked issue.
