NCT ID NCT07242196

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at two different numbing injections given before children have laparoscopic (belly-button) surgery. One injection targets a deeper layer of belly muscles, while the other targets a slightly different spot. Researchers want to see which one controls pain better after surgery, how long the pain relief lasts, and whether children need extra pain medicine. About 36 children aged 6 months to 16 years will take part.
