First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (erector spinae plane block and quadratus lumborum block) to see which one controls pain better after a total abdominal hysterectomy. Sixty women aged 35-60 will rate their pain and track how much extra pain medicine they need. The goal is to find a safer, opioid-sparing way to manage post-surgery pain and speed up recovery.
