First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compares two ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (RIFPB and TAPB) for pain control after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. 90 adults scheduled for surgery will receive one of the two blocks, and their pain levels and opioid use will be tracked for 24 hours. The goal is to see which block provides better pain relief and reduces the need for strong painkillers.
