New study aims to ease pain after appendix surgery

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (ESP block and TAP block) to see which one works better for pain relief after open appendix surgery. About 68 adults having this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The main goal is to see which block reduces the need for morphine and improves recovery.
