Study probes why some heart patients suffer Long-Term pain after surgery
NCT ID NCT05211492
Summary
This study aims to understand how many patients experience acute and chronic pain after a specific type of heart rhythm surgery called hybrid ablation. Researchers will survey patients who had the surgery at least three months ago to learn about their pain levels and what pain management methods were used. The goal is to identify factors linked to the development of chronic pain to help improve future patient care.
