Summary
This study tested two newer treatments for chronic Achilles tendon pain that hasn't improved with standard care. Researchers compared ultrasound-guided ozone injections and shock wave therapy to see which better reduces pain and improves walking and activity. The trial involved 63 adults to find the most effective approach for this stubborn condition.
