Ozone therapy: a surprising muscle recovery boost?

NCT ID NCT07728422

First seen Jul 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This trial tests whether different forms of ozone therapy can help healthy adults recover faster after muscle-damaging exercise. Participants will do a set of eccentric exercises, then receive either autohemotherapy (ozonated blood reinfused), ozone sauna, ozonated lavender oil massage, or no treatment. Blood samples are taken over 72 hours to measure markers of muscle damage and fatigue.
