Summary

This study tested whether adding oxytocin (a natural hormone) to a standard talk therapy for PTSD helps Veterans feel better faster and stay in treatment longer. About 180 Veterans with PTSD took part. The goal was to see if oxytocin could reduce PTSD symptoms more than therapy alone.
