First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether sending outreach messages (via secure messaging or phone) to people from racial and ethnic minority groups could help them start depression treatment after a new diagnosis. The study included 309 adults who had not started treatment within 30 days of diagnosis. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce disparities in depression care.
