First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study is testing whether adding osteopathic treatment (a type of hands-on therapy) to standard medical care can reduce pain in people with chronic low back pain that has lasted more than 3 months. About 199 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care alone, standard care plus sham osteopathic treatment, or standard care plus real osteopathic treatment. The main goal is to see if pain scores improve after 90 days.
