First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at how low oxygen levels during sleep (from obstructive sleep apnea) are connected to problems in the tiny blood vessels of the heart. Researchers will monitor 560 adults with suspected heart issues using sleep tests and heart scans. The goal is to see if certain breathing patterns during sleep can better predict future heart problems than standard measures.
