First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looked at how well the Orsiro stent, a small mesh tube that props open blocked heart arteries, works in everyday medical practice. Over 550 people with coronary artery disease received the stent. The main goal was to see if the stent performed as well in real life as it did in earlier clinical trials. Results showed the stent is safe and effective for treating blocked arteries.
