MS Drug's immune cell effects revealed in small study
NCT ID NCT06415864
First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looked at how oral cladribine changes different types of immune cells in the blood and spinal fluid of 10 people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis over 96 weeks. Researchers measured changes in B cells, T cells, and plasma cells to understand the drug's effects. The study did not test whether the drug improves symptoms or cures the disease—it was designed to gather knowledge about how the treatment works on the immune system.
