Could the bugs in your mouth affect your heart and fitness?

NCT ID NCT06009276

Summary

This study aims to understand the relationship between the bacteria in a person's mouth, how well blood flows to their muscles, and their overall fitness level. Researchers want to see if these factors are connected, especially in people with heart conditions or who are overweight. Participants will provide mouth swabs, saliva samples, do a bike test, and have their blood pressure monitored.
