Summary

This study aimed to find the safest and most effective daily pill dose to prevent HIV in pregnant women in Africa. Researchers tested three different strengths of the prevention medication in 54 pregnant women to see how their bodies processed the drug and to check for safety. The goal is to protect both mothers and their babies from HIV infection during pregnancy.
