First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at the best time to use shock waves to break up small kidney stones left behind after surgery. About 476 adults with leftover stones will be split into two groups: one gets treatment within 1-2 weeks after surgery, the other waits 3-4 weeks. The goal is to see which timing clears more stones with fewer side effects like bleeding or infection.
