Summary

This trial tests four different breathing strategies during kidney stone surgery to see if reducing kidney motion helps surgeons remove stones more completely and lowers the risk of complications. Eighty adults undergoing the procedure will be randomly assigned to standard ventilation, low-rate breathing, brief pauses in breathing, or one-lung ventilation. The study measures how much the kidney moves and compares surgical success and safety across the groups.
