New cancer drug injected directly into tumors enters human testing

Summary
This is a first-in-human study to find a safe and effective dose of a new drug called ONM-501. The drug is injected directly into tumors and is being tested alone and in combination with an approved immunotherapy drug (cemiplimab) in adults with advanced cancers that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals are to check the safety of the treatment and see how the body processes the drug.
