Can a website teach better diabetes control?
NCT ID NCT06069583
Summary
This study is testing whether an online training and peer support platform called 'Support' helps adults with type 1 diabetes manage their daily care. Researchers are comparing two groups: one where doctors recommend the platform as part of regular care, and another where people find and use it on their own. Over 300 participants across Canada will use the platform for a year and complete surveys to see if it improves their confidence, blood sugar control, and well-being.
