First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether rinsing the belly with salt water plus ondansetron (a nausea drug) during gallbladder surgery reduces pain and nausea better than salt water alone. Forty adults having their gallbladder removed will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if this simple addition improves recovery without extra side effects.
