New hope for kids with deadly brain tumors: experimental drug ONC206 enters human testing

Summary
This study tests a new drug called ONC206 in children and young adults with a rare, aggressive brain tumor called diffuse midline glioma (DMG) or other returning brain cancers. The goal is to find the best dose that is safe and can shrink tumors. ONC206 works by triggering a stress response that kills cancer cells while leaving healthy cells alone. About 208 participants will receive the drug alone or with radiation therapy.
