First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a four-week program of obstetric exercises (supervised by a physiotherapist) could help pregnant women feel less depressed, have fewer pregnancy complaints, and enjoy a better quality of life. A total of 100 women in their third trimester took part, with half doing the exercises and half receiving standard prenatal care. The researchers measured changes using questionnaires about depression and pregnancy symptoms.
