Can a special IV drip during dialysis stop muscle wasting?
NCT ID NCT04094038
Summary
This study is testing whether giving intravenous nutrition directly during dialysis treatments can help patients maintain muscle mass and improve their quality of life. Researchers are enrolling 166 people who receive regular hemodialysis for kidney failure. They will measure changes in muscle mass, strength, and how patients feel over time to see if this nutritional support makes a meaningful difference.
