NCT ID NCT05640843

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a plant-based diet, omega-3 and curcumin supplements, or a placebo can change gut bacteria in people with MGUS or smoldering multiple myeloma—early conditions that can lead to multiple myeloma. Researchers will measure butyrate levels in stool to see if these interventions improve gut health. The goal is to find a way to prevent progression to active cancer.
