Nutritional boost may speed muscle recovery in seniors after exercise

NCT ID NCT06205537

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of nutritional ingredients can help healthy older adults (ages 60–75) recover muscle strength and reduce soreness after a short, intense exercise session. Thirty participants were randomly assigned to receive either the nutrient blend or a placebo, and researchers measured leg strength, fatigue, and muscle soreness. The goal was to see if these nutrients could support faster recovery and better muscle health in aging adults.
