First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at whether lower-body plyometric (jump) training changes levels of two muscle damage markers in the blood of female college volleyball players. Sixty players were split into two groups: one did jump training twice a week for 8 weeks, while the other stuck to regular volleyball practice. Blood samples were taken at several time points to track changes in CPK and creatinine levels.
