Can better nutrition slow down this lung disease?

NCT ID NCT06344000

Summary

This study aims to understand the link between a person's nutritional status and the progression of bronchiectasis, a chronic lung disease. Researchers will enroll 300 adults with bronchiectasis and measure various nutrition and body composition indicators, then follow them for three years. The goal is to see if better nutrition is associated with fewer flare-ups, hospital visits, and slower decline in lung function.
