NCT ID NCT02804971

First seen Jun 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether chronic lung inflammation from bronchiectasis raises the risk of heart disease and accelerates aging. Researchers will measure heart function, artery stiffness, bone density, muscle mass, and blood markers in 110 adults aged 40 to 80 with confirmed bronchiectasis. The goal is to understand how often these problems occur and whether they relate to the severity of lung disease.
