New hope for tough lung cancer: targeted drug cocktails enter human testing

Summary
This study tests a new targeted therapy called MK-1084, alone or combined with other drugs, in 190 people with advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific KRAS G12C mutation and has worsened after prior treatments. The main goals are to check safety and see if tumors shrink. It is an early-phase trial, so results are not yet known.
