Magnetic pulses may help brain tumor patients regain movement after surgery

NCT ID NCT03606161

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive technique called navigated repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (nrTMS) can help people with brain tumors recover movement after surgery. About 32 patients who recently had surgery for a brain tumor near the movement-control area of the brain will receive nrTMS alongside standard rehabilitation. The main goal is to see if patients can stick with the treatment and if it is practical to use in a rehab setting.
